Your Daily Annunciation #27: Burne-Jones, Triptych (1861) – provenance?

Sir Edward Burne-Jones, The Annunciation and Adoration of the Magi, triptych (1861). Oil on canvas. Supposedly commissioned by The Church of St. Paul, Brighton, as a reredos for behind the altar. Sold to a private collection through Sotheby’s in 1994.

If this is the one from St. Paul’s, where did the Tate triptych come from? They are slightly different – note Gabriel’s hands.
